Susan Culbert. Born 1832 in Ireland. Married Philip Crawley.
Rebecca A. Culbert. Born 1835 in Ireland. (Infant death. Died age 6.)
Henry Culbert. Born 1837 in Ireland. Married Margaret Wall.
Emma Culbert. c1839-1840 in Ireland. (Infant death. Buried at sea on voyage to Canada.)
William Edward Culbert. Born 1842. First of John & Mary's children born in Canada. Married twice. #1 Ann DeCoursey. #2 Mary (DeCoursey) Hodgins (Ann's sister.)
Rebecca Ann Culbert. Born 1845 in Canada. (named after her deceased older sister.) Married William Whiteford.
Thomas Culbert. Born 1847 in Canada. Married Letitia Dempster.
Joseph Culbert. Born 1848 in Canada. Married Eliza Dempster.
Richard Culbert. Born 1853 in Canada. Married Jane Eleanor Fairhall.
Mary Ann Culbert. Born 1856 in Canada. Married Will Kent.
Note: It's possible their first child was Robert Culbert, born 1828 in Ireland. However, I've found no documentation to prove he was their child.
CULBERT FAMILY HISTORY is a genealogy blog dedicated to the descendants of pioneers John Culbert and Mary Ward. John and Mary left Ireland in 1840, purchasing 100 acres on the Coursey Line in what is now known as The Township of Lucan-Biddulph, Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada. We also welcome the descendants of John Culbert's siblings, cousins, and other relatives.
