Happy 51st birthday to
Dayna Lyn (Egan) Cowan of Jackson, Michigan! She's the 3xgreat-granddaughter of John Culbert and Mary Ward.

Dayna Lyn Egan was born 24 January 1970 in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada. Her parents, Marilyn Lillian (Culbert) Egan and Francis Edmond “Frank” Egan (1942-2017) both grew up in Lucan, Ontario. Dayna was Marilyn and Frank’s youngest child and their only daughter. She was named after Marilyn’s first cousin, Dana Elizabeth (Culbert) Garrett.
Dayna has two older brothers, Frank Egan, Jr., and Sean Egan.

Dayna grew up in Leamington, Ontario; graduating from Leamington High School in 1987. A year later, she graduated from the Marvel School of Beauty in Windsor, Ontario. Today, Dayna works as a barber and also as an office manager at a chiropractic clinic.
She moved to the United States and married Michael Cowan on 2 August 2002. Michael had two sons from a previous marriage: Christopher and Joseph.

On 19 October 2004, Dayna and Michael’s son, Kiegan McLachlan Cowan was born. Now, at age 16, Kiegan is a second-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do. He was picked for the World Demo Team, and depending on the pandemic situation, he might go to Greece to compete in October, 2021.
